Spumetti

Ingredients:

1 egg white
1 cup white sugar
1 cup toasted sliced almonds

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat the egg white until foamy. Gradually add sugar, continuing to beat until whites form stiff peaks. Fold in the toasted almonds. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden and firm. When cookies are completely cool, they can be placed into plastic bags and frozen.

Tweaks
instead of almonds I tried;peanuts,oatmeal raisin,M&M's all different kinds,Reece's pieces, coconut(not recommend),life

Rating: cup out of a cup.
Difficulty: Beginner
Cost: $10-$20 for about 9 batches
I had a little trouble telling when the eggs were beat enough, I recommend using a glass bowl so you can see if there is any liquid egg in the bottom. blend until all is foam then give it 20-30 seconds more just for good measure.

Family thoughts
well they didnt last long enough to get the next batch out of the oven.
2 year old Zo "MMMMmmmmm" but thats about all she can say.
Mari "almonds best"
P2 "I like the peanut and M&M's"
