Corned Beef Brisket
3-5 lbs. Corned beef brisket
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup apple sauce
place corned beef brisket in roasting pan with rack;add water. cover tightly with heavy- duty aluminum foil; cook until meat is tender.
Carefully, remove brisk from pan; pour off liquid. Return brisket to roasting pan and brush with apple sauce. Continue roasting uncovered for 15 min. carve into thin slices, cut ing diagonally across the grain.
