Meat 'n' Tater pie


Meat 'n' Tater pie (meal)
2 cups corn flakes cereal, crushed to 1 cup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/3 cup milk
1 lbs ground beef
2 eggs
2 cups seasoned, stiff mashed potatoes
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2cup shredded American cheese
sprinkle with paprika

Combine 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes, salt, pepper, mustard and milk in large mixing bowl. Beat well. Add ground beef. Mix bowl. Mix until combined. Gently press mixture evenly in bottom and around sides of 9-inch pie pan.
Beat eggs slightly in a small mixing bowl. Add potatoes, onion and parsley flakes. Stir until combined. spread potatoes mixture evenly in meat shell.
Place on baking sheet and bake at 350*F for 35 min. while pie is baking, combine remaining crushed cereal with melted margarine. Set aside.
Remove pie from oven. sprinkle cheese evenly over potato mixture. Top with cereal mixture bake until cheese melts about 10 min sprinkle with paprika. Makes 6 servings.
